January Fic Round Up

I set some writing goals for the year so here's a writing recap for January.

Discovering Thai BL dramas (and the delightful actors who star in them) has been a kick in the pants to my creativity. I wrote/posted almost as much fic this month as I did for the entirety of 2022.

Goals
★ Write & post fic once a month.
Success! Posted 5,969 words to AO3.

★ Finally meet my getyourwordsout goal of 250,000 words for the year. I haven't met my GYWO goal since 2012.
I'm on track! According to the fancy spreadsheet, I wrote 3k more than the target word count for the month.

★ Complete a streak of writing a minimum of 300 words every day for 30 days | 45 days | 60 days
I wrote 29 days so while I didn't complete a streak I'm on my way.

★ Submit one personal essay for publication
I published an essay! (Yes, it's for my graduate program's literary journal, but I'm counting it)

★ Complete draft zero of my graduate thesis - 25,000 words.
I've written about 2k words so woohoo!
